General
What is Prisma?
Prisma is a catalogue operating system for record record labels. It gives you one structured, searchable workspace for every song you own with metadata, ISRCs, credits, release history, file storage, and AI catalogue chat all in one place.
Who is Prisma for?
Prisma is designed for record labels, who need a better way to organise and operate their catalogue. If you’re managing more than a handful of songs across multiple artists, Prisma was built for you.
How does Prisma work?
Sign up, search for your first song on Spotify, and claim it in one click. Metadata populates automatically. From there you can add your full roster, import existing catalogues via CSV, assign tasks, upload files, and ask the AI anything about your catalogue.
Catalogue & Metadata
What information can I store per song?
Every song record holds title, artists, ISRC, release date, format, credits, songwriter splits, release history, platform links, and any files you attach — masters, artwork, contracts, and more.
How do I add songs to my catalogue?
Three ways: search and claim via Spotify (metadata auto-populates), add manually, or bulk import via CSV. All three are available from day one.
What is an ISRC and can Prisma manage them?
An ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is the unique identifier for every recorded song. Prisma Pro lets you assign, track, and search ISRCs across your entire catalogue.
Can I import my existing catalogue?
Yes. Upload your existing catalogue as a CSV file or search through Spotify connection and it imports directly into your Prisma account. We support large catalogues and can help with migration during onboarding.
AI Catalogue Chat
What can the AI actually answer?
The AI can answer any question about your catalogue — ISRCs, missing credits, release history, earnings per song, unreleased tracks, and more. It reads directly from your catalogue data so every answer is specific to your songs.
Is the AI trained on my data only?
Yes. The AI only has access to your catalogue. Nothing is shared with other users or mixed with external data.
What if the AI gives a wrong answer?
The AI answers based on what’s in your catalogue. If data is missing or incomplete, it will flag that rather than guess. Keeping your catalogue up to date ensures the most accurate answers.
